Senior Living Management Barry Feinstein M.Ed.
|
In 1990 Barry began a two-year internship leading to certification as an Insurance Rehabilitation Specialist (CIRS) providing Vocational Rehabilitation and Medical Case Management to individuals with job related injuries covered by Workman's Compensation. Barry is currently certified as a Disability Management Specialist (CDMS) and is nationally certified as a Case Manager (CCM).
Barry is a Volunteer for the Alzheimer Association and facilitates Adult Children Caregiver Support Groups on their behalf. He has worked with the National Stroke Association and the Arthritis Foundation of Florida. Barry is also the Volunteer Coordinator for the Friendly Visitor Program for SAGE of Broward County. He is a member of the American Society on Aging, Broward Coalition on Aging and The National Association of Professional Care Managers and The Case Management Society of America.
Prior to opening Peace of Mind Senior Living Management, Barry was employed by Catholic Health Services. As Marketing and Patient Services Director, he discovered that many seniors needed to have assistance with managing their lives, but most had no one locally whom they could count on. His discovery was that a great NEED existed that was not being addressed. Referrals and recommendations came forth and within three years family members Faye Feinstein, MEd, and Corbi Feinstein, MBA, joined Barry's staff. Experienced, educated, full of heart and hope...with clients and parents just like yours!
Peace of Mind Senior Living Management seeks to fill the void that is usually filled by local family members. All aspects of a seniors life are considered in assisting them and their family in meeting their needs.
